When fate brings you face-to-face with what your heart desires, how can you ignore it?
Violet Weathers, the world’s top supermodel, is in Omaha, Nebraska for two weeks shooting a campaign for a new skincare line that she’s the fresh new face of.
When her car breaks down on the way to the hotel, she is rescued by a hot mechanic who just might make her stay in Omaha more bearable.
As part of her blog tour celebrating the release of her debut erotica novel, I am hosting B. L. Wilde in a guest post.
I asked her about what drew her to writing erotic… here’s her post:
What, for you, is the draw of writing erotica?
Erotica gives me a new depth to some of my characters. Having already published a few pure romance books, some of my characters’ personalities would have been lost in that genre. I needed to find some kind of release for them.
With Erotica, I get to express the deeper, physical emotions. You can actually feel the main characters connecting across the page when they make the choice to make love. Deciding to be intimate with someone is a big decision and can be written in so many ways. Sometimes you get that raw passion that you can’t find in other genres, while other sometimes it’s soft and gentle. You have so much variety to choose from when writing this genre. It’s also the freedom of the emotions during sex that drive me to write erotica.
I don’t let the sex dominate my stories, though; it only strengthens them, in my opinion. I hope that comes across to my readers, too.
